The theme was to create a work based on a fairy tale, featuring one or more of their OC.
I chose Momotaro C: I knew already the story, but it was very interesting to give it a second and deeper reading.

Momotaro is the archetype of the warrior: brave, strong, smart, cunning, with sense of honour and friendship, and, last but not least, rock-like ideals. The peach itself from whitch he comes from, is an important  symbol: from ancient times in East peach is considered magic, and in Kojiki ("Record of Ancient Matters", oldest extant chronicle in Japan, a collection of myths) Izanagi uses it to defend himself from monsters when he goes to underworld to return to life his wife Izanami. So, you can understand that Momotaro is destined since his birth to become a great warrior, a champion and defender.
Above all, I learnt that this story could be seen as a celebration to friendship, good ideals and kindness: a fight between the forces of good and evil, but in a way happy, not too severe or anything else (maybe because the main character is a kid? C.

So I thought it would be the best choice for this contest: a story whitch is based on friendship, for a contest whitch is born from friendship. I think it's a very good idea this kind of contest: for you, but also for us: I found two new beatiful stories and artists (I knew only Piccolaria before this contest): I can't wait to explore your worlds more and more: all of you have very good and interesting ideas ^-^

- Michael mirzjiles.deviantart.com/journ… as The Pheasant: because the pheasant is a noble bird and a warrior: Michael is from an ancient and wealthy family, but he is also a very good athlete.

- Dasarine Corioth endorell-taelos.deviantart.com… as The Monkey: I think he fits perfectly for this C: the monkey is considered to be very clever and to have a very strong sense of humor. I love him!!He is such a sunny character

- Kyed piccolaria.deviantart.com/art/… as The Dog: I think one word is just enough: loyalty u-u

- Ria piccolaria.deviantart.com/art/… as Momotaro: it has been almost impossible for me to choose between Ria, Luciana and Sara: all of them deserve the main role; but at the very end, I finally choose Ria to be Momotaro, although I think it suits well all of them: they are the key to change the destiny of their word, champions against evil forces.

Anyways, congrats: you all have very good stories and well built characters ^-^ Thanks for this contest!
